What are Dental Veneers?

Veneers are ultra-thin pieces of porcelain or other high-quality material that are custom-made in the shape (or desired shape) of your teeth and bonded to the front surface of a tooth or teeth to mask imperfections. We may use one veneer on a single tooth or several veneers on multiple teeth to create a big, bright smile.

Whether you have small teeth resulting in spaces, worn down teeth or malpositioned tooth/teeth that appear crooked, veneers can be used to close spaces, lengthen teeth, fill black triangles between teeth caused by gum recession, and provide a uniform color, shape, and symmetry. Veneers can also be applied to yellow or stained teeth that won't whiten. In many cases, little-to-no tooth preparation is necessary.
